Guido Fawkes reminds us today that over 1,200 so-called experts signed ‘the Declaration’ – cooked up by the same people behind the John Snow Memorandum – warning of the terrible effect easing coronavirus restrictions on July 19th would have. The Declaration originally took the form of a letter in the Lancet, published on July 7th, in which 120 self-described ‘scientists’, many of them members of Independent SAGE, described ‘Freedom Day’ as “dangerous and premature”. They cited the SAGE modelling showing there would be 100,000 new Covid cases a day if the Government went ahead with its plans and set out the dire consequences for Britain and the rest of the world. “We believe the Government is embarking on a dangerous and unethical experiment, and we call on it to pause plans to abandon mitigations on July 19th, 2021,” they wrote.
Two weeks on from ‘Freedom Day’, their predictions aren’t holding up terribly well.
According to Public Health England, the number of new daily cases fell to 21,691 today, another five-week low. So the 1,200 signatories of the Declaration exaggerated the number of daily cases that would follow ‘Freedom Day’ by 500%.
Ignoramus claims ‘propaganda’ is only what someone else believes, not what she believes.
last June pleaded with her 37.7 million followers to wear a mask. “This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate.
I feel it’s your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we’re not all podded up and being tested every single day. It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.
On January 28, 2000, Pfizer filed US Patent 6372224 for a “spike protein virus vaccine for the canine coronavirus.”
Research began in 1999, funded by Fauci (actually the American taxpayers), at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which led to the April 19, 2002 US Patent 7279327 to create a “infectious replication defective coronavirus” to “target the human lung epithelium.” That’s not a vaccine, that’s a patent on a virus.
“In other words, we made SARS,” Martin said. “And we patented it on April 19, 2002 before there was ever any alleged outbreak in Asia, which as you know, followed that by several months…. (It) was not only engineered but could be synthetically modified in the laboratory, using nothing more than gene sequencing technologies, taking computer code and turning it into a pathogen, or an intermediate of the pathogen, and that technology was funded exclusively in the early days, as a means by which we could actually harness coronavirus as a vector to distribute HIV vaccine.”
That 2002 patent, by the way, transferred from UNC Chapel Hill to the NIH in 2018 and in 2019 “UNC Chapel Hill, NIAID and Moderna began the sequencing of a spike protein vaccine, a month before an outbreak ever happened” for COVID-19, Martin said.
The CDC filed for US Patent 7220852 in April 2003 and a series of derivative patents, like 7776521, were filed not only covering the SARS coronavirus gene sequences but also the detection tools, and the CDC paid bribes to keep the research private according to Martin.
“If you actually both own the patent on the gene itself, and you own the patent on its detection, you have a cunning advantage to being able to control 100% of the provenance of not only the virus itself, but also its detection, meaning you have entire scientific and message control,” Martin said.
CDC patent filings from 2003, 2005 and 2006 all show 89 to 99 percent “sequence overlaps” with COVID-19. Similar to Moderna developing a coronavirus vaccine months before a COVID-19 outbreak. In 2008, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency showed interest in coronaviruses being used as a biological weapon, and patent 9193780 emerged, and between 2008 and 2019 there have been 73 patents related to the so-called “novel” elements of COVID-19.
Moderna was given insider information, according to Martin, months before COVID-19 emerged as what happened in 2003 and Sequoia Pharmaceuticals, part of the holdings of Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, which obtained patent 7151163 before a virus was known. Martin said: “It is not physically possible for you to patent a thing that treats a thing that had not been published,
because CDC had paid to keep it secret.”
In March of 2019, Moderna began development of a COVID-19 “vaccine” and amended its patent application multiple times “to specifically make reference to an ‘intentional or… deliberate release’ of coronavirus,” Martin said.
The establishment media on Wednesday praised President Joe Biden’s concession to the far left by extending the eviction moratorium as “remarkable” and “symbolic.”
“After days of progressives fuming over the failure to prevent the federal eviction moratorium from expiring, the White House abruptly shifted its calculus on Tuesday and enacted a new ban,” Politicowrote.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday enacted a new eviction moratorium through October 3, specifically targeting areas heavily impacted by surges in coronavirus cases.
The spread of the delta coronavirus variant has pushed the threshold for herd immunity to well over 80% and potentially approaching 90%, according to an Infectious Diseases Society of America briefing on Tuesday.
That represents a “much higher” bar than previous estimates of 60% to 70%, because delta is twice as transmissible, said Richard Franco, an assistant professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Former Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security under President Obama Juliette Kayyem called Tuesday for the Biden administration to restrict the unvaccinated from flying by placing them on a no-fly list
Flying is not a right, and the case for restricting it to vaccinated people is straightforward: The federal government is the sole entity that can regulate the terms and conditions of airline safety. And although air-filtration systems and mask requirements make transmission of the coronavirus unlikely during any given passenger flight, infected people can spread it when they leave the airport and take off their mask. The whole point of international-travel bans is to curb infections in the destination country; to protect itself, the United States still has many such restrictions in place. Beyond limiting the virus’s flow from hot spots to the rest of the country, allowing only vaccinated people on domestic flights will change minds, too.
Today, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio will begin requiring proof of vaccination – what many have termed a vaccine passport – to eat inside restaurants, go inside gyms, and visit entertainment venues. New Yorkers must present their “Excelsior Pass”, a vaccine passport presented on smartphones, to enter many indoor venues
Authorities in the Chinese city of Wuhan on Tuesday ordered all residents to submit to compulsory coronavirus testing after a string of new cases emerged across the population of 11 million.
One of the Biden administration’s top COVID-19 advisors has admitted that most face masks are “not very effective” in stopping the spread of the virus.
Dr. Michael Osterholm, a member of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board, told CNN that the mask wearing is little more than theater, as most cloth face coverings do nothing to prevent the spread of the virus.
Dr. Michael Osterholm, a member of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board, told CNN that the mask wearing is little more than theater, as most cloth face coverings do nothing to prevent the spread of the virus.
“And if I could just add a nuance to that, which hopefully doesn’t add more confusion, we know today that many of the face cloth coverings people wear are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out,” Osterholm told CNN host John King. “Either you’re breathing out or you’re breathing in.”
“So I think one of the things right now is we’ve just got to get a better handle on what does protect people and what doesn’t,” he added.
Osterholm explained that he wants people to wear N-95 respirators, which he believes actually work, rather than commending individuals for throwing a piece of cloth over their face for the purposes of placating senseless rules and signaling mindless obedience.
“We need to talk about N-95 respirators, which would do a lot for both people who are not yet vaccinated or not previously infected, protecting them, as well as keeping others who might become infected having been vaccinated from breathing out the virus,” he said.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday he is asking private businesses such as bars and restaurants to require proof of vaccination against Covid-19 as a condition for admission.
The number of daily Covid cases in New York has increased “four-fold” to more than 2,000 cases over the past month as the highly contagious delta variant spreads, Cuomo said during a news conference. Data shows fully vaccinated individuals are less likely to catch, get infected with the virus or suffer from severe disease, he said.
A federal appeals court ruled Monday that Indiana University can proceed with its plan to require students and employees to get vaccinated for COVID-19, in what is the highest court decision regarding college immunization mandates.
The Chicago-based appeals court upheld an Indiana district court judge’s ruling that found that the university was acting reasonably “in pursuing public health and safety for its campus communities.”
Appearing Monday during the Biden administration’s COVID-19 Response Team press briefing, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky stated that both adults and children, whether they are vaccinated against the coronavirus or not, should wear a mask indoors at a K-12 school in the coming fall.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) mandated Monday indoor masking effective August 4 for the vaccinated and unvaccinated “unless a person is in a home,” while the average seven day death rate from the virus is 14, according to Google’s coronavirus tracker
“Today, I am reinstating Louisiana’s statewide mask mandate indoors for all people ages 5 & up as COVID-19 cases & hospitalizations continue to rise across Louisiana, threatening the ability of hospitals to deliver care,”
Chinese scientists manipulated lethal viruses under unsafe conditions at the Wuhan Institute of Virology prior to the coronavirus outbreak, fueling suspicions the pandemic was caused by a lab leak, according to a new congressional report.
The Wuhan lab was engaged in “dangerous genetic modification research on coronaviruses at unsafe biosafety levels,” according to the report, authored by the minority staff on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The report includes revelations about unsafe working conditions at the lab, as well as new information indicating the Chinese government sought to mislead the world about the experiments taking place there. Congressional investigators say researchers at the lab “had the ability to genetically modify coronaviruses as early as 2016 without leaving any trace of that modification.”
Dr. Ayla B, the looney doc who describes herself as a physician, a vax advocate, a progressive (like you needed to be told that), a cook, and an owl enthusiast that is “here” for BLM and prefers the pronouns “she/her”, advertised her insanity in a series of tweets yesterday:
It happened. Just tested positive for COVID.
Spent all pandemic being cautious:
Got swabbed often.
Got 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine as soon as I had the chance.
“But right now, they are going back to masks, saying it’s the Delta variant,” he said. “Well, there’s one large study out of England, from Public Health England, 92,000 patients, and do you know how many people died in the vaccinated wing of this under age 50? Zero. Do you know how many people died — there were 52,000 people unvaccinated — do you know how many people died? Six.”
“That works out to 0.08 percent less than the flu. That’s under age 50,” he continued. “Over age 50, there was about half as many people died as were dying last year. So the Delta variant is more transmissible but less deadly.”
“But if you say that, Facebook will take you down; they’ll chastise you, take away your birthday, and say you’re spreading mistruth,” he said. “But it’s absolutely factual. The Delta variant is more transmissible but far less deadly than the virus from last year.”
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases head Dr. Anthony Fauci predicted Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that things were “going to get worse” as the Delta variant pushes a surge of COVID-19 cases in the United States.
Fauci added, “So, we’re looking not, I believe, to lockdown, but we’re looking to some pain and suffering in the future because we’re seeing the cases go up, which is the reason why we keep saying over and over again the solution to this is get vaccinated, and this would not be happening.”
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases head Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that people unwilling to wear face masks indoors are “encroaching” on other individual rights because you’re making them vulnerable to getting infected with COVID-19.
YOU A-HOLE YOU SAID LAST YEAR IF WE VAX, ITS OVER, SO SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE AN F-the-F-OFF !
– TELL US WHY THIS CHART IS BEING HIDDEN FROM THE PUBLIC!
A bombshell headline dropped on Axios this morning that was intended to assuage concerns over the Delta Variant infecting vaccinated Americans. Titled, “Chart: Less than 0.1% of vaccinated Americans infected with COVID-19,” it was an obvious means of saying, “Hey, don’t listen to the anti-vaxxers, just get vaxxed!”
They went through the numbers and highlighted how rare it is for an unvaccinated person to get infected. This comes on the heels of a week in which news continued to break about “breakthrough cases” rising in the nation.
While they went into great detail about how less than 0.1% of vaccinated people are getting infected, they omitted on extremely important fact. Less than 0.1% of UNVACCINATED people are getting infected as well.
Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) made an obscene gesture Friday when asked if Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “should be arrested for breaking her own mask mandate.”
National Institutes of Health director Dr. Francis Collins said Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union” that he supports business requiring proof of vaccination for customers.
As many as 1.95 million households across America owed a collective $15 billion in back rent when a nationwide eviction moratorium expired this weekend, according to Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia estimates.
That number will reach 2 million by December, according to the report released Friday. In Pennsylvania, about 60,000 renter households will owe $412 million come August.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made one final 30-day extension of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program through July 31. President Joe Biden’s administration said its “hands are tied” by the courts on the matter and any further relief must come from Congress itself.
Daily hospitalizations so far have hit 31,148 at the highest, far below the 58,488 hospitalizations, for instance, in the spring surge of 2020. Likewise, daily deaths have so far reached a high of 296, only about a tenth of the peak during the winter.
Nearly 400 children between the ages of 12 and 17 were diagnosed with heart inflammation after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, according to a study published by the CDC on July 30.
The condition, also known as myocarditis, occurred mostly in young boys, the study found. Heart inflammation was not identified as an adverse reaction during the safety trials for the vaccine.
The CDC conducted the study by reviewing reports of adverse reactions to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) between Dec. 14, 2020, and July 16, 2021.
Of the 8.9 million children who received the vaccine as of July 16, VAERS received a total of 9,246 reports of adverse reactions, 90.7 percent of which consisted of “nonserious adverse events.” The 397 reports of heart inflammation made up 4.3 percent of the total.
Workers whose employers are mandating a vaccine for continued employment have the power to say no. Our robust economy and job market gives them the option to find a new employer that values personal choice and responsibility, and doesn’t force mandates on their employees.
Dr. Stella Immanuel, the pro-hydroxychloroquine doctor who was derided by the fake news media for attempting to save lives near the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, is striking back against CNN.
Immanuel has launched a $100 million lawsuit against CNN and host Anderson Cooper for what she believes were false and defamatory statements made against her character.
“In an effort to vilify, demonize and embarrass President [Donald] Trump, Cooper and CNN published a series of statements of fact about Dr. Immanuel that injured her reputation and exposed her to public hatred, contempt, ridicule, and financial injury,” the lawsuit stated. It was filed in federal court on July 27.
Immanuel said that she believes Cooper and CNN “effectively caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands whose lives would have been spared if they had been treated early with HCQ.”
Big League Politicshas reported on the suppressed science showing that hydroxychloroquine can effectively treat COVID-19:
Florida reported 21,683 new cases of COVID-19, the state’s highest one-day total since the start of the pandemic, according to federal health data released Saturday, as its theme park resorts again started asking visitors to wear masks indoors.
“We can halt the chain of transmission,” Walensky told “CBS This Morning” on Wednesday. “We can do something if we unify together, if we get people vaccinated who are not yet vaccinated, if we mask in the interim, we can halt this in just a matter of a couple of weeks.”
Damnit – there are again ZERO ICU beds available in the state of Arkansas (one of the lowest vaccinated states in the US). This means many others beside #COVID19 patients in the hospital awaiting beds may die. #vaccinate please for the love of god.
I work on the COVID floor at my hospital. It’s full. The entire floor + the ICU are at capacity w/ COVID patients — almost all unvaccinated. Our district has one of the lowest vaccination rates because our rep Lauren Boebert spreads lies & misinformation about the vaccine.
Burnett is a veterinarian. She also claims to be a part-time physical therapist at Cheyenne (WY) Regional Medical Center, explaining the physical therapy table and dumbells.
Colorado’s Third District’s major population center is Grand Junction. It is reporting ICU usage at normal levels.
Grand Junction metro area has reported having 38 staffed adult ICU beds. 19 are filled by non-COVID patients and 5 are filled by COVID patients. Overall, 24 out of 38 (65%) are filled.
Cheyenne metro area has reported having 25 staffed adult ICU beds. 1 are filled by non-COVID patients and 12 are filled by COVID patients. Overall, 13 out of 25 (55%) are filled.
Lauren Boebert’s Democrat opponent is not a medical doctor and does not work on a Wuhan ward or ICU.
She is a veterinarian who is a part-time physical therapist. She doesn’t work in a hospital in Colorado, so no matter what is happening in “her hospital,” it has nothing to do with Colorado. Colorado’s ICU situation is at or below normal. The vaccination rate in Third District is on par with the rest of the state, and one of the two highest vaccination rates in Colorado is in Third District.
Literally, nothing Burnett claimed is true. And yet, it is allowed to circulate as though it has some relationship to the facts on the ground.
Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told fill-in host Brian Kilmeade that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci were “hiding something” from the American public regarding correspondence with the teachers’ unions.
Emails unveiled through a Freedom of Information Act Request showed redacted correspondence, which Johnson said demonstrated a lack of transparency.
“For example, we want all the emails between the CDC and the teachers’ unions, as they discussed to how they approach the schools’ reopenings,” he said. “But in particular, I really want the emails of Dr. Fauci. They were presented through a FOIA request, but they were heavily redacted. And so we sent a letter with five members of my committee, that if five members do request this, the agency shall turn them over to us. We got the exact same FOIA requests, except for one paragraph was not redacted. And when it was redacted, it was for apparently being related to an open law enforcement investigation.”
“But we saw the paragraph,” Johnson continued. “It has nothing to do with the law enforcement investigation. So that brings into question all the redactions. And by the way, Congress is not subject to those same four redactions, so they are hiding something. Again, that just reduces my trust and faith in these agencies. They need to come clean. They need to be transparent. This is information the American public deserves to have.”
Bowser announced on Thursday that the district would be re-imposing an indoor mask mandate for all individuals over the age of two regardless of vaccination status. The city has had only two deaths from COVID-19 in the last two weeks.
“I know D.C. residents have been very closely following the public health guidelines and they will embrace this,” the mayor said when making the announcement.
The mayor was also criticized in November when she traveled to Delaware to attend President Joe Biden’s speech declaring victory in the 2020 presidential election — in violation of her own rule forcing travelers from outside of the district to quarantine for 14 days.
“I do a lot of things to advance the interests of the District of Columbia,” Bowser said. “And some of them are formal, and some of them are informal, but all of them are necessary,” Bowser said of the trip at the time.
The percentage of COVID-19 tests coming back positive rose in every region of New York over the last three days, even as federal data showed the vaccination rate for adults, topped 75 percent.
The governor’s office, citing federal data, said 75.2 percent of New Yorkers 18 and older have gotten at least one vaccine dose.
Nearly 1.6 billion disposable face masks ended up in the earth’s oceans in 2020, out of the roughly 52 billion produced in response to the pandemic, according to a study.
While governments around the world continue to support mask mandates in public spaces, the impact of disposable masks is only just emerging.
The report, by the Hong Kong-based marine conservation group OceansAsia, title “Masks on the Beach,” also estimated that roughly 5,500 tons of plastic pollution entered the ocean in 2020 from masks.
While a cigarette butt or plastic bag takes 20 years or less to degrade in the ocean, according to Visual Capitalist, a plastic bottle, disposable diaper or a disposable mask takes nearly 450 years to fully break dow
For how long can you trust a politician to stick to his commitment to defend freedom? In the case of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, it looks like three months max.
After signing into law on April 29 legislation prohibiting mask mandates by state and local governments in Arkansas, Hutchinson on Thursday, July 29, declared he intends to call a special session of the state legislature, likely to occur next week, for the purpose of exempting kindergarten through 12th grade public schools from the statute’s mask mandate prohibition.
Host Bret Baier asked, “Are you for mandating a vaccine on a federal level?”
Walensky responded, “That’s something that I think the administration is looking into. It’s something that I think we’re looking to see approval of from the vaccine.
Overall, I think in general, I am all for more vaccination. But, I have nothing further to say on that except that we’re looking into those policies.
And, quite honestly, as people are doing that locally, those are individual, local decisions as well.”
Walensky responded, “I think it’s really important to recognize that, as we think about the absolute number of people who are getting infected, that is related to the number of people who have disease, the number of people who are vaccinated, and how well those vaccines work. So, it is actually quantitatively possible to have 95% protection from hospitalizations and still have a lot of breakthrough infections if most of your population is vaccinated.”

Summary
What is already known about this topic?
In preauthorization trials of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, adolescents aged 12–17 years reported local and systemic mild and moderate reactions. Myocarditis has been observed after vaccination with mRNA vaccines in postauthorization monitoring.
What is added by this report?
Local and systemic reactions after vaccination with Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine were commonly reported by adolescents aged 12–17 years to U.S. vaccine safety monitoring systems, especially after dose 2. A small proportion of these reactions are consistent with myocarditis.
What are the implications for public health practice?
Mild local and systemic reactions are common among adolescents following Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and serious adverse events are rare. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices conducted a risk-benefit assessment and continues to recommend the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for all persons aged ≥12 years.Article Metrics
As of July 30, 2021, among the three COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use in the United States, only the Pfizer-BioNTech BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for adolescents aged 12–17 years. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for use in persons aged ≥16 years on December 11, 2020 (1); the EUA was expanded to include adolescents aged 12–15 years on May 10, 2021 (2), based on results from a Phase 3 clinical trial (3). Beginning in June 2021, cases of myocarditis and myopericarditis (hereafter, myocarditis) after receipt of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine began to be reported, primarily among young males after receipt of the second dose (4,5). On June 23, 2021, CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) reviewed available data and concluded that the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination to individual persons and the population outweigh the risks for myocarditis and recommended continued use of the vaccine in persons aged ≥12 years (6). To further characterize safety of the vaccine, adverse events after receipt of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and adverse events and health impact assessments reported in v-safe (a smartphone-based safety surveillance system) were reviewed for U.S. adolescents aged 12–17 years during December 14, 2020–July 16, 2021. As of July 16, 2021, approximately 8.9 million U.S. adolescents aged 12–17 years had received Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.* VAERS received 9,246 reports after Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination in this age group; 90.7% of these were for nonserious adverse events and 9.3% were for serious adverse events, including myocarditis (4.3%). Approximately 129,000 U.S. adolescents aged 12–17 years enrolled in v-safe after Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination; they reported local (63.4%) and systemic (48.9%) reactions with a frequency similar to that reported in preauthorization clinical trials. Systemic reactions were more common after dose 2. CDC and FDA continue to monitor vaccine safety and provide data to ACIP to guide COVID-19 vaccine recommendations.
VAERS is a passive vaccine safety surveillance system comanaged by CDC and FDA that monitors adverse events after vaccination (7). VAERS accepts reports from anyone, including health care providers, vaccine manufacturers, and members of the public. Under COVID-19 vaccine EUA requirements, health care providers must report certain adverse events after vaccination to VAERS, including death.† Signs, symptoms, and diagnostic findings in VAERS reports are assigned Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) preferred terms by VAERS staff members.§ VAERS reports are classified as serious if any of the following are reported: hospitalization or prolongation of hospitalization, life-threatening illness, permanent disability, congenital anomaly or birth defect, or death.¶ Reports of serious adverse events receive follow-up to obtain additional information, including medical records; for reports of death, death certificates and autopsy reports are obtained, if available. CDC physicians reviewed available information for each decedent to form an impression about cause of death.
CDC established v-safe, a voluntary smartphone-based active safety surveillance system, to monitor adverse events after COVID-19 vaccination. Adolescents who receive a COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to enroll in v-safe, through self-enrollment or as a dependent of a parent or guardian, and receive scheduled text reminders about online health surveys.** Health surveys sent in the first week after vaccination include questions about local injection site and systemic reactions and health impacts.†† If a report indicated medical attention was sought, VAERS staff members contacted the reporter and encouraged completion of a VAERS report, if indicated.
VAERS and v-safe data were assessed by sex, age group, and race/ethnicity for U.S. adolescents aged 12–17 years who received Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine during December 14, 2020–July 16, 2021. VAERS reports for adolescents aged 12–15 years were excluded if vaccination occurred before EUA age expansion on May 10, 2021. FDA used empirical Bayesian data mining to monitor for disproportional reporting of adverse events by vaccine among VAERS reports for persons aged 12–17 years§§ (8). SAS software (version 9.4; SAS Institute) was used to conduct all analyses. These surveillance activities were reviewed by CDC and conducted consistent with applicable federal law and CDC policy.¶¶
VAERS received and processed 9,246 reports of adverse events for adolescents aged 12–17 years who received Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine during December 14, 2020–July 16, 2021 (Table 1); 5,376 (58.1%) were in adolescents aged 12–15 years and 3,870 (41.9%) in persons aged 16–17 years.*** No adverse events were reported disproportionately to VAERS in association with Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination. Common conditions among all reports included dizziness (1,862; 20.1%), syncope (1,228; 13.3%), and headache (1,027; 11.1%). Among the 1,228 reports of syncope, 901 met a standard case definition†††; 548 (60.8%) of these events occurred in females, and median age was 15 years. Among those who met the syncope case definition, 147 (16.3%) reported a history of anxiety around needles, and 145 (16.1%) were transported to an emergency department for further evaluation.
Overall, 8,383 (90.7%) VAERS reports were for nonserious events, and 863 (9.3%) for serious events, including death; 609 (70.6%) reports of serious events were among males, and median age was 15 years. The most commonly reported conditions and diagnostic findings among reports of serious events were chest pain (56.4%), increased troponin levels (41.7%), myocarditis (40.3%), increased c-reactive protein (30.6%), and negative SARS-CoV-2 test results (29.4%) (Table 2); these findings are consistent with a diagnosis of myocarditis. Myocarditis was listed among 4.3% (397) of all VAERS reports.
CDC reviewed 14 reports of death after vaccination. Among the decedents, four were aged 12–15 years and 10 were aged 16–17 years. All death reports were reviewed by CDC physicians; impressions regarding cause of death were pulmonary embolism (two), suicide (two), intracranial hemorrhage (two), heart failure (one), hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis and disseminated Mycobacterium chelonae infection (one), and unknown or pending further records (six).
During December 14, 2020–July 16, 2021, v-safe enrolled 66,350 adolescents aged 16–17 years who received Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (Table 3). After Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was authorized for adolescents aged 12–15 years (beginning May 10, 2021), v-safe enrolled 62,709 adolescents in this age group. During the week after receipt of dose 1, local (63.9%) and systemic (48.9%) reactions were commonly reported by adolescents aged 12–15 years; systemic reactions were more common after dose 2 (63.4%) than dose 1 (48.9%). Reporting trends were similar for adolescents aged 16–17 years: systemic reactions were reported among 55.7% after dose 1 and 69.9% after dose 2. For each dose and age group, reactions were reported most frequently the day after vaccination. The most frequently reported reactions for both age groups after either dose were injection site pain, fatigue, headache, and myalgia.
During the week after receipt of dose 2, approximately one third of adolescents in both age groups reported fever. Nearly one quarter of adolescents in both age groups reported they were unable to perform normal daily activities the day after dose 2. Fewer than 1% of adolescents aged 12–17 years required medical care in the week after receipt of either dose; 56 adolescents (0.04%) were hospitalized.
The findings summarized in this report are consistent with the safety data observed in preauthorization trials for Pfizer-BioNTech after vaccination among persons aged 12–25 years, with the exception of myocarditis, a serious adverse event detected in postauthorization safety monitoring (3). Trial participants who received vaccine (1,131 aged 12–15 years; 537 aged 16–25 years) reported local and systemic reactions that were mostly mild (i.e., did not interfere with activity) or moderate (some interference with activity); no serious adverse events related to vaccination were reported (3). Similarly, local and systemic reactions were commonly reported by U.S. adolescents aged 12–17 years who enrolled in v-safe; a minority (<25%) reported they were unable to perform normal daily activities the day after receipt of dose 2. A small number of v-safe participants reported they were hospitalized after vaccination; however, v-safe does not record reason for hospitalization, and it cannot be determined whether hospitalization was related to vaccination.
Among 8.9 million adolescents vaccinated during the study period, VAERS reports were received for approximately one per 1,000 vaccinees, and 90% of these reports were for nonserious conditions. Syncope was among the events most commonly reported to VAERS in this age group and is common among adolescents after any vaccination (9). Other conditions associated with vasovagal response to vaccination were also frequently reported. Among the serious reports, myocarditis and other conditions that might be associated with myocarditis were among the most common terms reported; however, these terms did not account for a large proportion of VAERS reports overall. No reports of death to VAERS were determined to be the result of myocarditis. Impressions regarding cause of death did not indicate a pattern suggestive of a causal relationship with vaccination; however, cause of death for some decedents is pending receipt of additional information. ACIP conducted a risk-benefit assessment based in part on the data presented in this report and continues to recommend the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for all persons aged ≥12 years (6). An updated EUA now includes information on myocarditis after mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.§§§
The findings in this report are subject to at least five limitations. First, VAERS is a passive surveillance system and is subject to underreporting and reporting biases (7); however, under EUA, health care providers are required to report all serious events following vaccination. Second, medical review of reported deaths following vaccination is dependent on availability of medical records, death certificates, and autopsy reports, which might be unavailable or not available in a timely manner. Third, lack of a statistical safety signal in planned monitoring does not preclude a safety concern. For example, although a statistically significant data mining alert has not been observed for myocarditis following Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination, myocarditis has been identified as an adverse event following mRNA COVID-19 vaccines in multiple surveillance systems (10). Fourth, this study was not designed to identify all cases of myocarditis; only reports that listed the MedDRA term “myocarditis” were included. Finally, v-safe is a voluntary self-enrollment program that requires children aged <15 years be enrolled by a parent or guardian and relies on vaccine administrators to promote the program. Therefore, v-safe data might not be generalizable to the overall vaccinated adolescent population.
The initial safety findings of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine administered to U.S. adolescents aged 12–17 years are similar to those described in the clinical trials, with the exception of myocarditis, a rare serious adverse event associated with receipt of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines; follow-up of reported myocarditis cases is ongoing (6). CDC and FDA will continue to monitor for adverse events, including myocarditis, after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination and share available data with ACIP to guide risk-benefit assessments for all COVID-19 vaccines.

** Adolescents aged <15 years must be enrolled by a parent or guardian and may not self-enroll. Health check-ins are sent via text messages that link to web-based surveys on days 0–7 after vaccination; then weekly through 6 weeks after vaccination; and then 3, 6, and 12 months after vaccination.
†† Participants in v-safe self-identify the severity of their symptoms, defined as mild (noticeable, but not problematic), moderate (limit normal daily activities), or severe (make daily activities difficult or impossible). Health impacts include whether the vaccine recipient was unable to perform normal daily activities, missed school or work, or received care (i.e., telehealth, clinic or emergency department visit, or hospitalization) from a medical professional because of new symptoms or conditions.
§§ FDA used the Multi-Item Gamma Poisson Shrinker algorithm to calculate the Empirical Bayes Geometric Mean and its associated 90% confidence interval (EB05, EB95). An EB05 ≥2 (more than twice expected) was considered the threshold for defining a vaccine-event pair reported disproportionately.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has published the most extensive statistics yet involving reports of adverse events among children who received Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.
According to CDC, there were about 400 cases of myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle, reported in young people aged 12-17 after the Pfizer-BioNTech shot as of July 16.
According to the data, about 8.9 million children aged 12-17 had gotten the Pfizer-BioNTech shot as of July 16.
The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) received 9,246 reports of illnesses after the Pfizer shots in the youth age group; the vast majority for what CDC considers “nonserious events.”
About nine percent (9%) of the reports were for “serious adverse events” including myocarditis.
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is encouraging — though not requiring — that unvaccinated students and staff members in kindergarten to grade 12 wear masks indoors, according to guidance released Friday morning.
“Vaccines, which remain in abundant supply, are the most effective defense against the virus, and they will always remain voluntary – never forced – in the State of Texas,” he vowed.
Leaked CDC report: Delta variant as contagious as chickenpox
July 30, 2021 at 4:35 am PDTBy Natalie Dreier, Cox Media Group National Content Desk
As states battle a surge of the COVID-19 delta variant, an internal document from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been leaked that shows that the variant spreads from fully vaccinated people at the same rate as unvaccinated people.
CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky confirmed the authenticity of the document, which is a slide presentation, CNN and The Washington Post reported.
The document states that officials must “acknowledge the war has changed,” the Post reported.
“I think people need to understand that we’re not crying wolf here. This is serious,” Walensky told CNN.
“It’s one of the most transmissible viruses we know about. Measles, chickenpox, this — they’re all up there,” Walensky added.
The New York Times reported that the document states the delta variant is more transmissible than MERS, SARS, Ebola, a common cold, seasonal flu and smallpox and is as contagious as chickenpox.
The leak comes as the CDC reversed course earlier this week and now, once again, recommends that fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors in areas of the country where transmission is high, CNN reported.
The document shows that the agency knows it must get a new message out to the public that pushes vaccination as the best defense.
Officials say the delta variant is acting like a different novel virus that is moving faster than Ebola or even a cold, The Washington Post reported.
The document uses unpublished data and outside studies that officials say show that even vaccinated people are able to spread the virus as if they were unvaccinated and that they have similar delta variant viral loads as those who are not vaccinated, the Post reported.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) announced Thursday a special congressional session in Arkansas to vote on school mask mandates, while also reinstating the Public Health Emergency Declaration.
Hutchinson wants the legislature “to amend Act 1002 to give local school boards and decision-makers the authority to impose a mask mandate and make decisions for the public health of those that are 12 and under in their school environment,” KNWA Fox reported.
Actor Michael Rapaport took to TikTok on Wednesday to trash Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) for their mixed messaging on Chinese coronavirus vaccines.
“I just watched Tony Fauci and CNN — and Fox — tell me that people with the vaccine, vaccinated people, are now spreading the coronavirus,” the Deep Blue Sea and Atypical star said on TikTok. “I went from being a hero because I’m vaccinated, and now you motherfuckers are calling me a superspreader? I ain’t no fucking superspreader,” he said.
The United States’ coronavirus death rate is still roughly at a pandemic-low, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended Tuesday that vaccinated individuals and children wear masks indoors.
According to Google’s coronavirus tracking system on July 26, 275 people are dying from the virus on a seven day average, while overall infection cases are rising.
President Joe Biden will announce Thursday millions of civilian federal workers must prove they’ve received a coronavirus vaccination or be forced to submit to regular government testing and stringent social distancing, as well as travel and masking restrictions.
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it received 2,469 pages of new documents from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which reveal that Facebook coordinated closely with the CDC to control the COVID narrative and “misinformation” and that over $3.5 million in free advertising given to the CDC by social media companies.

Such records include, but are not limited to, any advice or instructions issued on disinformation re COVID-19.
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Tuesday disputed new federal guidance that vaccinated people should resume wearing masks indoors in public when in areas with high coronavirus spread. The governor said the federal advice is counterproductive to vaccination efforts and “not grounded in reality or common sense.”
Minutes later, Reynolds issued a statement criticizing the federal advice.
“I’m concerned that this guidance will be used as a vehicle to mandate masks in states and schools across the country, something I do not support,” Reynolds said in a statement issued minutes after the CDC announcement Tuesday afternoon.
A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) document obtained by ABC News shows that “breakthrough” COVID-19 infections — among those who are already vaccinated — are extremely rare, despite headlines and scare stories in the media.
More than 156 million Americans have been fully vaccinated. The CDC estimates that there have been approximately 153,000 infections among vaccinated individuals — about 0.098 percent. This number comes from an unpublished internal CDC document obtained by ABC News.

On Tuesday’s “PBS NewsHour,” White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said he believes that new mask recommendations by the CDC will serve as an incentive for people to get vaccinated.
Host Judy Woodruff asked, “Dr. Fauci, other pushback we’re hearing from conservatives, they’re saying this new mandate is going to undermine confidence on the part of people who haven’t been vaccinated yet. It’s going to take away the incentive to get vaccinated.”
Fauci answered, “I would think, Judy, just the opposite. We would not be in this situation if we already had now the overwhelming proportion of the population vaccinated. We would not be having the viral dynamics that give you a red and an orange zone. If we had the overwhelming proportion of the people vaccinated, we would not be having this conversation.”
On Tuesday’s “PBS NewsHour,” White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci stated that the CDC revised its mask recommendations for vaccinated people because vaccinated people who have a breakthrough infection “can transmit it to other people.” But “This is not a common event” and is “a very unusual, rare event, but it occurs.”
PUNISHMENT
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky Director blamed Tuesday unvaccinated Americans, not the CDC, for reinstating mask guidance.
The reversed mask guidance “could have been avoided” if more Americans had become vaccinated, a Voice of America reporter tweeted the Director said.
“We still largely are in a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” she continued after noting the majority of transmissions occurring in the United States is “with unvaccinated individuals.”
President Joe Biden blamed unvaccinated Americans on Tuesday for the resurgence of the coronavirus pandemic on his watch.
“We have a pandemic, because of the unvaccinated and they’re sowing enormous confusion,” he said, adding, “If those other 100 million got vaccinated, we’d be in a very different world.”
Only the sick governing elites can look you in the eye with a straight face and force experimental injections on u because masks didn’t work while simultaneously forcing masks on you because the injections didn’t work.
The president alluded to the announcement Tuesday after an address at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. “That’s under consideration right now, and if you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were,” he said. Mandates have emerged as a hot-button political issue in recent weeks, with some agencies and governing bodies insisting on them, and critics questioning the underlying science and bristling at an infringement on their right to choose.
House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement Tuesday that President Joe Biden’s mask mandate seeks to enforce a “perpetual pandemic state.”
Vice President Kamala Harris warned Americans Tuesday that if they did not get vaccinated, they would face continued mask mandates.
“No one likes wearing masks… people need to get vaccinated. That’s the only way we’re going to cut this off,” she said at a White House event. “Nobody likes wearing a mask.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is planning Tuesday to recommend school children K-12 wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
The White House on Tuesday struggled to explain why the Centers for Disease Control would announce new masking policies across the country, despite ongoing faith in the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines.
“I know this is slightly awkward timing,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged at the beginning of the daily press briefing. The CDC scheduled a briefing on their new mask guidance for later in the afternoon.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview Tuesday that President Joe Biden’s mask mandate surrender represents the latest instance of Biden’s “worst start of any administration in history.”
Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) administration also issued a pointed response, contending the updated rules are not based on science and warning that it will likely backfire.
“It isn’t based in science. There is no indication that areas with mask mandates have performed any better than areas without mask mandates,” DeSantis’s office told Breitbart News
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced new recommendations that vaccinated people return to wearing masks indoors in parts of the U.S. where the coronavirus is surging.
A new analysis finds several counties with above-average vaccination rates also have higher COVID case rates, while case rates are falling in counties with below-average vaccination rates.
Statewide data analyzed by the Bay Area News Group found five counties, Los Angeles, San Diego, Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco, have both a higher percentage of people who are fully vaccinated than the state average and a higher average daily case rate.
Hundreds of bars in the San Francisco area will begin requiring either proof of vaccination or negative Chinese coronavirus tests from customers who would like to sit inside, according to a statement from the industry group on Monday.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Monday that his state will be the first in the nation to impose a vaccine mandate on state employees and healthcare workers, requiring they show proof of vaccination or submit to regular tests.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to announce Tuesday that some vaccinated individuals resume wearing masks in certain situations to protect against COVID-19, reversing its earlier guidance that only unvaccinated individuals should wear face coverings.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Monday said it is the community’s mission to get more people vaccinated, previewing his administration’s desire to knock on doors, put unvaccinated people in cars, and drive them to “get that vaccine in their arm.”
“I wear a mask because I care about you. I get a vaccine because I care about you,” Cuomo said, framing compliance to various methods of government coercion as an expression of selflessness.
“We understand that we are all in this together. We understand that as goes one goes all in this city where we all live together and in this state where we all live together,” he continued.
The COVID-19 data have been largely distorted and utilized for political purposes. A scandalous development from the United Kingdom is shedding light on just how exaggerated the pandemic threat has been.
New data leaked from the NHS in the United Kingdom show that “over half” of hospitalizations that were classified as “COVID hospitalizations” were admissions for other ailments that subsequently incurred positive COVID tests.
In an exclusive in the Telegraph, the data were leaked casting further doubt on COVID data all over the world.
“More than half of Covid hospitalisations are patients who only tested positive after admission, leaked data reveal,” the U.K. publication reported in an exclusive paywalled article.
