A common mutation of the novel coronavirus seen in the United States may be more infectious but less deadly, according to recent reports. The World Health Organization (WHO) and infectious disease experts told Fox News the mutation of coronavirus is known as D614G and is predominately in North America.
This is what you get when you OBEY / COMPLY with the other mandates not permitted under the bill of rights America!
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for example, has warned that even when temperature assessment devices are used properly, they may have a “limited impact” on reducing the spread of infections.

This week New York City said the memorial to the victims who died Sept. 11, 2001, would be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But on Saturday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the state will provide the support needed for the art installation.

A federal judge threw out a lawsuit by an Arizona woman who claimed New York’s 14-day quarantine requirement for travelers from hotspot coronavirus states infringed on her “fundamental right to travel.”
U.S. District Court Judge David Hurd on Tuesday became at least the second federal judge to rule against challenges to the quarantines first ordered by Gov. Andrew Cuomo in June. The advisory currently covers travelers from 31 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

(CNSNews.com) – New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, announced on CNN Friday morning that his state is moving to universal mail-in voting for the upcoming November election.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott extended the state’s disaster declaration due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it will be in place for at least another month — and will probably be extended again in September.
The disaster declaration allows the state to use whatever resources available to combat the virus that “poses an imminent threat of disaster for all counties in the State of Texas.”
AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Friday, Mayor Steve Adler extended the mandatory mask order for the city through Dec. 15.
The order, set to go into effect Sunday, included new guidelines by Austin Public Health for schools.
This comes as Travis County also renewed its mask order the same day.
According to the order, masks covering the nose and mouth are still required when you are outside of your home. This includes inside businesses and commercial entities.
So much for the bring your business to TEXAS phrase.
New coronavirus cases, deaths, and hospitalizations reported over the last seven days are trending downward compared to the previous week, reflecting “improving” conditions on the ground, the COVID Tracking Project conceded on Thursday, echoing data maintained by Johns Hopkins University.
Masks, social distancing and hand washing are futile in efforts to stop an airborne disease. They may satisfy the psychological need to “do something,” but ultimately have no effect.
“I’m not concerned about what he says,” Fauci replied. “It’s a little bit — I think you could say that when he does that, it triggers some of the crazies in society to start threatening me, actually threatening, which actually happens.”

SAN ANTONIO – The number of criminal felony cases backlogged in Bexar County has swelled to 8,975 this week, according to Local Administrative Judge Ron Rangel.
When a moratorium on jury service was ordered on March 13, jury trials in all 10 Bexar County criminal district courts were halted. At that time, there was a backlog of 5,519 felony cases.
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said this week there is “no reason” Americans can’t vote in person for the 2020 presidential election, so long as voters follow proper social distancing guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I think if carefully done, according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case,” Fauci told ABC News this week. “If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing, and don’t have a crowded situation, there’s no reason why shouldn’t be able to do that.”
“The iconic Lower Manhattan 9/11 memorial display that features twin beams of light to honor victims of the terror attacks will not shine this year over coronavirus concerns,” reports the New York Post.

The British authorities are going to crack down even further on Britons who oppose wearing masks, with those refusing to do so facing a fine of more than £3,000.
In the coming weeks, existing fines of £100 for not wearing a mask in public places like supermarkets and on public transport will double up to a maximum of £3,200 — representing a total of only six infractions — under new rules announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday.

The toll is falling heaviest on young adults, caregivers, essential workers and minorities. While 10.7 percent of respondents overall reported considering suicide in the previous 30 days, 25.5 percent of those between 18 to 24 reported doing so. Almost 31 percent of self-reported unpaid caregivers and 22 percent of essential workers also said they harbored such thoughts. Hispanic and Black respondents similarly were well above the average.
Roughly 30.9 percent of respondents said they had symptoms of anxiety or depression. Roughly 26.3 respondents reported trauma and stress-related disorder because of the pandemic.
Another 13.3 percent of respondents said they have turned to substance use, including alcohol and prescription or illicit drugs, to cope with stress from the pandemic.
During an interview with actor Matthew McConaughey Thursday night, top White House epidemiologist Dr. Anthony Fauci said that “everybody should have to use” a mask — a contradiction with President Trump who Thursday evening criticized presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden for calling for such a mandate.

State Farm doesn’t have to pay losses to S.A. businesses: A federal judge Thursday tossed a case brought by six San Antonio barbershops against State Farm Lloyds for losses sustained after they were forced to shut down to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Senior U.S. District Judge David A. Ezra said State Farm cannot be held liable to pay business interruption insurance on the COVID-19 virus claims. The lawsuit was brought by Shayne Brown, owner of Diesel Barbershop, Henley’s Gentlemen’s Grooming and Outlaws & Gents Grooming. State Farm has said its policy doesn’t cover losses due to pandemics.
In the CDC’s weekly provisional death counts for COVID-19, the agency attributes just over 145,378 total deaths to the virus in the U.S. through Aug. 8. Of those, 4,401 — about 3% — are listed as involving “intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning and other adverse events.”
European nations went first with mask mandates and lockdowns and they then had the worst fatal rates, and are now having re occurring infections while still mandating masking and lockdowns.

A review of the scientific literature on COVID-19 reveals that, simply put, “masks and respirators do not work. There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.”

The facts seem to support that COVID-19 is not a novel virus. It is 79% similar to SARS and has proteins in common with the coronaviruses that cause the common cold. A healthy immune system that has been exposed to these less virulent coronaviruses seems to be able to neutralize COVID-19 when it detects it.
“But,” charged the Sentinel, “the chart was consciously manipulated to produce that appearance by comparing the same data (cases per day) on different axes.”
“Cases for mandate counties are based on the left axis, with a range of 15 to 25, while those without mandates are based on a secondary axis on the right, with a scale of 4 to 14.”
The Sentinel replotted the data using the same vertical axis, yielding “results [that] look dramatically different.” Specifically, the blue line (non-masking counties) is consistently below the orange line (masking counties). In other words, the no-mask counties already have fewer cases than the mask counties, even after more than a month of masking.

In August, Sweden has registered just one death (!) with/from the coronavirus. Yes, you read that correctly. One death so far.
As if the debate over face mask-wearing amid COVID-19 isn’t contentious enough in some quarters, a dental practice is warning that keeping your mouth covered all or most of the time could allegedly lead to harmful hygiene issues such as gum recession (i.e., periodontal disease) and bad breath.
A Manhattan dentist calls this potential side effect “mask mouth” as a play on “meth mouth” that colloquially refers to the decay of teeth and gums among drug addicts.
The United Kingdom may scrap its official daily coronavirus death toll counter after a review by Oxford University experts of how the deaths were counted reportedly found that results were being “over-exaggerated.”
Sweden ripped the metaphorical band-aid off quickly and got the epidemic over and done with in a short amount of time, while the rest of the world has chosen to try to peel the band-aid off slowly.
Essentially, Sweden looked at its choices: Shut down the whole country and hope for a vaccination that may never come or may not be effective. Meanwhile, the economy will collapse and people’s lives will be destroyed. Alternatively, recognize that the Wuhan virus is not the Black Death and get on with life.

“The use of executive actions also drew criticism from Republican Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska.
“The pen-and-phone theory of executive lawmaking is unconstitutional slop,” said Sasse, a member of the Senate’s Judiciary and Finance panels. He added that Trump “does not have the power to unilaterally rewrite the payroll tax law. Under the Constitution, that power belongs to the American people acting through their members of Congress.”
